New biography on Irène Némirovsky

We have just published the first biography on Irene Nemirovsky (author of the best-selling novel/memoir, Suite Française) by Jonathan Weiss. Although relatively little was known about this prolific Jewish novelist writer from the 1920s and 30s before the publication of Suite Française, this fascinating biography fills the gap. The Life and Work of Irène Némirovsky is based on interviews, documents, and Némirovsky’s own writings.
